Established in 1970, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation has a single, focused mission: to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. It is the leading nonprofit, nongovernmental funder of diabetes research worldwide; since inception we have funded over $1 billion in Type 1 research, giving hope to those fighting this devastating disease. Annually, JDRF funds over $1 million of research in Colorado.

The Rocky Mountain Chapter offers high-profile events attracting thousands of people throughout the city and garner wide-spread media attention.
