Denver’s own dance troupe, Silhouettes, had a stellar performance on last night’s episode of America’s Got Talent. Silhouettes is near and dear to our hearts because they have a very special member, Ellie White. Ellie was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 3 and has been a wonderful advocate for JDRF ever since. She even donates all of her birthday money to JDRF through her Walk team. Please tune in and vote for Silhouettes (and Ellie) in the upcoming weeks!

One Step Closer to a Type 1 Diabetes License Plate

Yesterday, the bill to create a type 1 diabetes license plate passed the Transportation Committee by an 11- 0 vote in favor. We hope to have the final bill passed by mid-May. Thanks to the tremendous effort of Girl Scout Troop 193 in coordinating this effort!
