On November 11th, 128 avid golfers flew Frontier Chartered Airlines from Denver to the city that never sleeps - Las Vegas, Nevada - for our 2nd Annual "Play Away" Golf Tournament to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Beautiful weather, a fabulous golf course, and all of the fun that Las Vegas offers, made it an event to remember!

For the first time ever, we raised $40,000 in Fund-A-Cure donations during the flight at an altitude of 30,000 feet! An additional $7,000 was raised during the exciting Live Auction. AM950 TheFan Sports Radio's own Irv Brown did an excellent job as emcee and auctioneer, sharing his own personal story about his connection to juvenile diabetes.

After a night in Las Vegas at the Palms Hotel, it was on to play Cascata golf course in Boulder City, Nevada. Celebrated as one of the finest designs in the world, Cascata provided stunning views at every turn, as well as a challenging yet fun day of golf!
